Issue there in this version would be fixed in next update coming out next week

Hi guys
I've just got an iPhone 5 a couple of weeks ago, and I'm facing wifi connectivity issues on it. The phone keeps dropping the wifi even though it shows full signal strength, and keeps reconnecting to it. As a result I can't surf the web properly or use other internet based apps like WhatsApp. Though it seems fine after a hard reset, but it goes back to the problem after a while (maybe when I come back home and reconnect the wifi).
Any suggestions??
Cheers
Shruti

I sure hope so!! Apparently its been present since months!
Hi Shruti,
Thank you for writing in. I have a workaround to suggest and I expect you to be patient and cooperate with us till we help you resolve the issue:
1. Add the connection as a manual connection,
2. Go to OTHER and manually add the settings.
It should stay connected henceforth and when you move out and come back to the network area it should be able to connect it automatically for you.
HTH!! Keep posting...
What is the current version of ios ? 6.0.1 fixed many users wifi issue.

If you find any download link dead on forum. contact mods or admins.
Okay I've tried that, though I don't think it would make much difference but lets see!
Yeah mine is 6.0.1 as well but apparently people are still facing this issue, including me!
